For many years, our RoboMIG torches have been withstanding the test of time in highly-demanding industrial tasks. After investing a lot into the development, test runs and practical trials, TBi was able to show a complete range of Plasma Welding Torches on this years show in Essen. In the meantime, there is a large selection of torches available, targeted at different task, like manual or automatic welding, and the optional use of powder as a filler metal.

All torches are characterized by the long life design and very good cooling properties. In that way, we managed to reach very compact dimensions of the torch heads and long life of the consumables.

The TBi StarTip contact tip is a cleverly designed new product from TBi, which is targeted to remove the major disturbances from the welding torch. By the special geometry - the bore which guides the wire has a pentagonal cross section on the full length of the contact tip - the StarTip will achieve a better electrical contact to the wire. The wire has two line-shaped contact areas with the pentagonal hole, instead of only one with the round hole. In the enlarged cross-section of the pentagonal hole (compared to a round hole), the tip is able to "stow" much more dirt and wire scrapings without blocking the cross-section.

The innovative torch cleaning station TBi JetStream brings a completely new approach to fully automatic torch cleaning into the production environment. The torch head is thoroughly cleaned on the inside and outside by air-propelled abrasive pellets. One main advantage of this process is that it is completely independent from nozzle geometry. Gasnozzle, contact tip, tip holder and gas diffusor will be cleaned without large forces on the torch. The periodic manual cleaning process, which is customary today, becomes obsolete and the productivity of the robot cell is raised.

Now we offer two versions of the Tandem (twin wire) welding torch for wire diameters of up to 2.8 mm and a capacity of 2x 550A. Different nozzles and torch models allow for best adaptation to your welding needs.

Custom changes are possible, for example for narrow gap welding with protective gas feeding from the sides.

Our new TIG handle Precision is now our standard for TIG welding torches. The very ergonomic and visually pleasing design destine this handle to be the rising star in our range of TIG torches. The lateral rubber inserts allow for precise handling of the torch. Various switch modules can be ordered, also with integrated potentiometer.
